We are a Partnership of church linked organisations who are working to reduce and prevent the isolation of older adults and engage in working with them to improve their quality of life and wellbeing and their connections within their communities.

As individual organisations and as a partnership we have been on a journey of significant change, moving away from models of bringing people together for day centre style activity towards models that support development work that enables the full participation and networking of people in their communities for mutual benefit.

This partnership is underpinned by our church connections and a willingness to collaborate and change to provide activities and possibilities that work with and enable older people to do for themselves. Within the partnership we have a strong practical commitment to peer mentoring and the sharing of good practice.

The partnership is managed and developed by Thrive Together Birmingham, who bring the partnership together to develop a shared understanding of the model of participation that directs our work.
